There is no shortage of good blogs and sites. I've found another that I strongly recommend, http://backpain-relief.relatedinfo4u.com/ .
As the site says, "Back pain usually starts with signals or indicators. For
instance, if your back hurt at one time and stopped, and later it started
it again." We've all been there, but for those of you who wonder if your back is flashing you serious warning signs, please hit this link.
For the rest of us, knowledge is power. The more we learn, the better equipped we are to work with our health care providers. Do yourself a favor : http://backpain-relief.relatedinfo4u.com/ . God bless us all, Colin
If you like that back pain site, you should really check out http://www.spine-health.com. The animated videos and discussion forums are the best. Articles are good too. Interesting blog - keep it up :)

Dear Sam, Thanks for the head's-up. I'll check it; it sounds great and you'll probably see it written up as well. Thanks for the help. I tried to email you, but it was kicked back. Thanks again, Colin

Interesting article and good pointer to back pain site. It does indeed start with indicators/signals, the biggest problem is getting a proper diagnosis, I can track mine back 10 years before the diagnosis was made, but they are getting better :o)
There are another couple which deal more specifically with AS. The first is http://kickas.org/ and the other is http://nass.co.uk/ both of which are excellent sites.
