Within the crowd in the blogsphere, there is a site you absolutely must see : www.disapedia.com . The name is one you'll come to know. This site is spectacular.
In particular, it's for us, the disabled community. I've never seen any quite like it. It bursts with news, and allows the reader to easily comment, or discuss individual articles. It's tabbed so that when you click on a news story, you'll immediately see the content, with photo's, pop up onto your screen. Above the story is a tab that allows you to comment on that story, and read comments written by other readers.
Despite its' size, it is so easy to use that you may find you've just spent an hour on the site.
It is kind of like the New York Times for the disabled. If something happened that touches upon issues that are important to us, you'll find it here: www.disapedia.com .
Unlike a blog, which tends to be a more personal reading experience, disapedia is like a newspaper or a reference book. File this one under un-missed opportunity.
I'm glad it was pointed-out to me. Please, give it a shot and let me know what you think. God bless, Colin
Colin, you're right, it's an awesome site. So awesome, in fact, I'm adding it to my sidebar! Thanks for the tip
